Standing on the cross road of change - Part 1

Texts: Jer. 6:16; Isaiah 43:18-19
- Times come in the life of people in which the need the help of God because deciding which direction becomes very difficult
- Many are standing on the cross road of hardship
- Many are stranded on the cross road of life due to injury of serious troubles

What is a cross road?
1. A cross road is a point of transitioning
2. Leaving one area for another
3. A place of change
4. A place where spirits gather
5. A point in time when critical decisions must be made (Rom. 1:16)
- All you need is to believe Him
Why did Paul tell the Greek this particular story
1. Because the power of the gospel is in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.
There is a point of conglomerate where Jesus becomes the point of connection between you and God
The power of the gospel is in that cross
It carries the power to get you out of that thing that is pressing you
To bring you our of the burden and guilt
It reconciles humanity with our heavenly father
The satanic cross roads brings you into covenant with demonic powers but the cross of Jesus reconciles with God
How does the cross of Christ reconcile humanity to God?
1. By shaking of the chains of regret (Acts 3:19)
2. By shaking and breaking the chain of fear and limitation (fear of poverty, shame, the unknown)
Fear has its roots in incomplete deliverance.
3. By shaking of the burden of unforgiveness (Matt. 6:13-14)
Unforgiveness create an emotional storm of distress
This storm increases stress which brings anxiety and depression and fear and torment
Unforgiveness creates a hardened heart
A hardened heart creates:
1. Anger
2. Resentment
3. Bitterness
4. Hatred
It is a disaster for a person to deceive him/herself
Every root of unforgiveness has 2 legs:
1. Ungodly pride
2. Self-righteousness
These two are total disasters for the body of Christ.
