Spending time with the wrong people 2

Proverbs 16:28, 13:20

Facts to know:
- Friendship can be toxic or beneficial to one's life, hence its vital to discern who is genuine or not.
- The bible teaches us to dissociate from the wrong people (Prov.14:7)

Characteristics of the wrong people
- Insult and pull people down
- Exercise aggression, also in subtilty
- Ignore your boundaries
- Insult you and instead of apologizing, try to bribe you into forgiving
- Selfish and egocentric
- They reek of attention; always jealous of other friends
- You give far more than you receive from them. They take advantage of your generosity.
- They don't take accountability or responsibility
- They make you feel guilty for spending time in the house of God or helping out in the house of God.

Prayer Points
- Lord, teach me how to make good and genuine friends
- Lord, help me to be a genuine and godly friend
- Lord, have mercy upon me and deliver me from my own misdeeds against others
